Infineon Technologies confirms its OPTIGA™ TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security controller for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet. Developed by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), an international industry standards organization, the TPM specification is an open standard designed to provide a root of trust for secure applications in a wide range of computing devices and environments. Systems with built-in hardware TPM better protect data, manage secure authentication, protect user identities, and enhance network security integrity.
