Kyocera AVX has released a new surface mount AEF series of wet aluminum V-chip electrolytic capacitors

     Kyocera AVX has released its new surface-mount AEF series of wet aluminum V-chip electrolytic capacitors designed for industrial and consumer electronics applications with high-density PCBS that meet industrial durability levels. The series comes in 11 different housing sizes, from 0608 to 1216, offering a wide range of capacitance values and voltage ratings, from 2.2-470μF and 6.3-400VDC.

     It also has low DCL and low ESR, which allows for higher ripple current tolerances, low impedance across the entire class temperature range, extending from -40 or -55°c to +105°c, and excellent reliability with extended life of up to 6,000 hours at +105°c and rated voltage. The new line of wet aluminum electrolytic capacitors currently offers customers 59 part numbers and is ideal for a wide range of high-density industrial and consumer electronics, from lighting systems to DC-DC converters.

     In terms of mounting, surface mount capacitors offer pure tin terminals on 13 "or 15" reels, compatible with automatic assembly devices and support for reflux assembly. They are also rohs compliant and lead-free compatible.
