Murata's 2BZ wireless connection module
Murata's Type 2BZ high-performance module is based on Infineon's CYW54590 combo chipset and supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO +Bluetooth 5.2 BR/EDR/LE, Data rates of up to 866 Mbps PHY over Wi-Fi and 3 Mbps PHY over Bluetooth.
The WLAN part supports the SDIO 3.0 interface, while the Bluetooth part supports the high-speed four-wire UART interface and PCM for audio data. CYW54590 implements highly sophisticated enhanced co-operative hardware mechanisms and algorithms to ensure that WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration is optimized for optimal performance.
The 2BZ module is packaged with a minimal shielding profile that facilitates integration into size and power sensitive applications, such as Internet of Things applications, handheld wireless systems, gateways, etc. RF matching, antenna design and regulatory certification have all been processed and tested.
