NXP's SJA1110 family of Automotive Ethernet switches provides a rich set of security, safety and TSN features. The device is available in four models, each capable of supporting flexible modular ECUs designs for gateway, ADAS and infotainment applications. Innovative features such as frame checking up to 128 bytes wide and two SGMII interfaces that operate at speeds up to 2.5 Gbit/s enable efficient cascading and connection to host controllers.

Flexible boot options allow configuration by selecting an external NVM or by an external host controller. Advanced security features allow the secure startup mode to verify the firmware before execution. SJA1110 has a functional safety ASIL B rating. This applies to the entire chip except the Arm kernel.
