PMIC and level shifter for display panels of IT equipment

     Magnachip Mixed-Signal,  Ltd. has released a multifunctional PMIC and multichannel level shifter for regulating different voltages and signals in  the display panel of IT equipment. The new product launch provides PMIC and level switching technologies from the  company's R&D activities since 2019. These technologies offer increased efficiency, low power consumption, versatility,  and multichannel capabilities.

     The multifunctional PMIC was developed as a single chip solution that integrates a built-in controller, switches,  logic circuits, two boost regulators, two negative low-voltage differential regulators,  three high-current regulators for buck, and two positive operational amplifiers. With I²C,  this PMIC can control dynamic voltage management, built-in on/off timer,  protection circuit and switching frequency conversion. As a result,  the new PMIC improves efficiency and reduces power consumption in applications. As a result,  the power required to run high-end display panels in IT equipment will be steadily converted and distributed.

     The new multichannel level shifter has been specially developed to regulate on/off voltages over 24 channels and  effectively manage voltage signals. As a result,  the level shifter fully meets the demanding channel requirements of high-resolution displays and ultra HD panels.
