Qorvo introduces RFPD3580 to enhance new generation DOCSIS 3.1 performance

     Qorvo announced that the RFPD3580 power multiplier amplifier is now available to provide the lowest power consumption and highest output capability for cable television (CATV) DOCSIS 3.1 systems. It also provides high output capacity, excellent linearity, excellent return loss performance, and robust reliability for 45MHz to 1.218GHz CATV amplifier systems.

     Qorvo's RFPD3580 hybrid power multiplier amplifier module uses advanced silicon carbide based gallium nitride (GaN on SiC) and gallium arsenide (GaAs) process technology. The RFPD3580 provides high output capacity, excellent linearity and excellent return loss performance, and robust reliability for 45MHz to 1.218GHz CATV amplifier systems. In particular, its low power consumption of 18 watts is the best in the industry and is stable in all end conditions.
