RECOM introduces modules that meet medical, home and industrial safety standards

RECOM's RACM30-K/277 AC/DC module delivers leading thermal effective power output of 9.2 W per cubic inch in still air at +60°C, providing 30 W continuous loads as well as additional peak capacity. The modules operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and meet safety standards for medical MOPP, household, industrial and measurement applications. The RACM30-K/277 module is rated by the Safety Report as Limited Power Supply (LPS) and OVCIII, suitable for operating heights up to 5,000 m.

Even if the output is grounded, the comfortable margin of EMI Class B limits simplifies system implementation and allows rapid market time without additional external circuitry (e.g. fuses or filters). For designers, the greatest flexibility of these sealed weldable modules is their pin-to-pin compatibility with the mature RAC20-K series. A further mechanical derivative is a package module with wires or a panel mount option with a spring clip connector that can be converted to DIN rail mount via RECOM's clip attachment
