3M's PCIe expansion components provide low-loss expansion from the mother board to peripheral devices

3M's dual-axis PCIe expander assembly for PCIe 4.0 applications is a family of cable assemblies, including X8 and X16 connectors, which use 3M low-loss dual-axis cables 85 Ω, 31 AWG, ideal for PCIe applications. With its extremely small bend radius and thin ribbon construction, the next generation of the two-axle cable assembly in this family can be easily routed in even the densest server or rack configurations. Designed for scalability and tight bending without compromising signal integrity when bending.

3M's dual-axis PCIe expander component for PCIe 4.0 applications allows users to reposition PCIe Card slots or bridge two slots on different PCBS and is compatible with Card Electromechanical (CEM) connectors. By replacing rigid PCB components, 3M PCI Express expansion components can be folded or simply wired to the peripheral card, providing low-loss expansion from the mother board to the peripheral.
