     Amphenol RF has expanded its automated Mini-FAKRA cable assembly portfolio with further pre-configured cable assemblies. These components are available in single-port, two-port or four-port mini-FAKRA jack configurations and are created on flexible RG-174 cables. Automation components support data transfer rates of up to 20Gbps, making them ideal for automotive and industrial iot applications that require high data transfer rates to transmit security, performance and entertainment information without latency.

     The Crown A Mini fakra connector is constructed with a closed entry cable interface that limits the size of the fitting parts to prevent contact damage during fitting. They also provide a secondary locking mechanism, called the Terminal Position Guarantee or TPA, which ensures that the body and contacts are retained and fully secured in the housing. These connectors provide reliable electrical performance up to 9GHz, low bonding force, safe fit and easy installation. The rugged, impact-resistant fuselage enables them to be used in harsh environments, such as vehicles and factory Settings.

     Cable assemblies are available in a variety of lengths, from 6 "to 12 meters, and in universal key Z codes, which enables them to be matched with all other key codes. These components are fully compatible with existing mini-FAKRA connectors and are ideal for 360° circumnavigation cameras, ECUs and computing modules, autonomous vehicles, warehouse robots, advanced driver assistance systems, infotainment, GPS navigation and V2X communications.
