Amphenol Times Microwave's RF cable assemblies are designed to solve difficult installation and connection problems

Amphenol Times Microwave's InstaBend 86 Flexible RF cable assemblies are designed to solve installation and connection challenges to help address the interconnect challenges between RF circuit boards, modules, backboards, and case panels. The cable can be bent to fit very tightly against the connector, minimizing packaging, saving space, and simplifying cable wiring.

Because they are integrated into the connector design, these preassembled units no longer require bulky traditional accessories to protect cable connector joints. The InstaBend 086 is resistant to 90° torque and features a highly stable VSWR and a rugged and durable rear end. These InstaBend components are constructed with a silver-plated copper clad steel center conductor and a braided inner and outer shield for thin bending with a minimum bending radius of 0.25" (6.36 mm). The maximum frequency is 50 GHz.
