Bourns introduces new Murata trimmer potentiometer products

     Bourns announced the availability of the Murata trimmer potentiometer models PVG3A and PVG3G series. Additional potentiometers are available in J-hook and airfoil pin styles in 3 mm RoHS compliant sizes, with a wide range of operating temperatures (-55 °C to 125 °C), a power rating of 0.25 watts at 70 °C, and a rotation life of 50 cycles. Both devices are hermetically sealed with high heat resistance for harsh operating environments, can be used for high temperature peak reflow soldering and help protect products during manufacturing, and are ideal for small sensors, printers/copiers, optical transceiver modules and miniaturized power supplies.

     Bourns has retained the original Murata product number to facilitate conversion to a Bourns-manufactured replacement, and Bourns will continue to manufacture replacement products that meet Murata specifications and comply with its warranty terms.
