Efficient large-scale industrial and horticultural LED lighting systems
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. Announced the LumaDrive Pre-wired Systems family of efficient remote centralized drivers for large horticultural, greenhouse and industrial LED lighting applications. These platforms combine multiple 4kW modules into a cost-effective pre-wired cabinet that simplifies installation, allows for simple "hot swap" repairs, eliminates additional dimming control connections, and reduces the overall cost of any large-scale lighting installation.
Designed for challenging environments such as gardening, warehouses, factories and parking lots, the series offers 144kW, 72kW, 36kW and 24kW configurations by combining up to 36 4kW power modules in pre-wired cabinets. The 24kW option features a NEMA 3R-rated housing, ideal for high-humidity environments such as greenhouses. The platform allows for the rapid deployment of scalable, efficient centralized power solutions, providing greater flexibility in designing and optimizing lighting layouts, improving energy efficiency, reducing overall operating costs and simplifying ongoing maintenance. Thanks to its highly programmable output parameters and loop compensation, the series can be operated with lamps from any manufacturer.

The pre-wired LumaDrive system meets these requirements without the need to assemble individual modules, provides a user-friendly interface and control, and ensures efficient, high-power density operation with a scalable design that can grow with the user's needs."
The system speeds up installation by eliminating the need to assemble individual modules. It reduces lamp weight, simplifies maintenance, and improves energy efficiency by powering large LED lighting installations with a local three-phase power supply in a centralized architecture. It also stops the requirement for dimming control per lamp and allows control of up to six areas per enclosure, providing significant design flexibility for lighting installers.
