     The RocketStor 654x Series chassis offers four or eight hot-swappable, vertically aligned 2.5-inch drive Bates and is powered by the company's industry-proven PCI switching architecture and RAID technology, delivering up to 28GB/s of transfer bandwidth and supporting up to eight DC and enterprise-class U.2 and U.3 media. Configure for up to 4 independent RAID 0, 1, or 10 arrays.

     A major game changer is the x16 channel capable of fully optimizing the 4th generation upstream or direct CPU bus bandwidth, combined with self-bifurcation (the x48 channel that manages and distributes the internal host bandwidth). This advanced architecture enables each case to reach its full performance and capacity potential while allowing for a very compact 4.84-inch case, making it an ideal solution for applications that must quickly access, transmit, and process large amounts of data, such as AI training, M&E post-production, and medical imaging or diagnostic platforms.

     These enclosures provide a feature that other external NVMe storage solutions cannot: an uncompromised host-to-device PCIe x16 connection. Each component has been carefully designed to maximize the performance and reliability of data transfer, from the compact eight-slot low-profile chassis to the powerful CDFP 400Gbps cabling solution and discreet PCIe x16 adapter card.

     The integrated PCIe switching technology enables the chassis to take full advantage of the host platform's X16-channel PCIe bandwidth, thereby maximizing data transfer speeds. The chassis (device side) and PCIe adapter (host side) have dedicated PCIe switch ics.

     This enables each solution to provide PCIe Gen4 dedicated upstream bandwidth for x16 lanes and x4 lanes dedicated downstream bandwidth for each U.S.2 or U.S.3 SSD. The unique architecture minimizes latency, significantly improves signal integrity, and simplifies I/O transfers between the host and NVMe storage.

     You only need to install a low-profile PCIe adapter card on the host platform. The external form factor enables administrators to easily expand or upgrade storage capacity on any PC platform with a PCIe Gen4 x16 connection.
