Imagination and Express Logic have announced the extension of ThreadX RTOS support for MIPS cpus

     Imagination Technologies and Express Logic have expanded Express Logic's industrial-grade ThreadX RTOS (Real-Time operating System) support for Imagination's MIPS cpus. Now the multi-threaded MIPS Level I I6400 processor core is also supported. This development expands ThreadX's support for multiple versions of MIPS cpus, from deeply embedded M-class cores to high-performance I-class application processors.

     ThreadX is an advanced RTOS from Express Logic designed for deep embedded, real-time and IoT applications, with more than 5.4 billion units deployed to date. Thanks to its advanced feature set and high scalability, the 64-bit MIPS I6400 CPU is increasingly being adopted in a variety of applications, including digital home, automotive, artificial intelligence, real-time embedded, and networking devices. For these applications, the combination of the I6400 and ThreadX provides developers with a compact, scalable, and efficient solution.
