Industrial edge AI gateway online
NEXCOM subsidiary NexAIoT has announced the NISE 54 Industrial edge AI Gateway for high-performance edge gateway applications. Powered by Intel Atom Amston Lake or Alder Lake processors, the NISE 54 gateway supports up to 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz SO-DIMM memory with IBECC capabilities for improved multitasking performance, reliability and security. Applications include industrial gateways, edge AI computing, factory automation, and embedded controllers.
Redefining industrial gateways with edge AI is a big leap forward in industrial applications. The gateway brings AI to the edge of deep learning reasoning capabilities, including integrated Intel UHD graphics up to 32eu(execution units), Intel Deep Learning Boost, Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (Intel AVX2) with INT8 support, and OpenVINO toolkit support.
Edge gateways like NISE 54 act as intermediaries between industrial devices and cloud or central data processing units, allowing data collection, processing, and real-time communication. By integrating advanced AI capabilities and edge computing into these gateways, they go beyond traditional roles to deliver real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and enhanced edge decision making.
The device's comprehensive M.2 interface support improves compatibility, versatility, performance, and connectivity in a compact, industry-standard form. This includes m.2242/2280 Key B that supports SATA storage, m.2230 Key E that supports Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth, and m.2242/3042/3052 Key B that supports 5G/LTE/SATA.
USB-C PD is revolutionizing industrial applications. The NISE 54-A03 product variant supports up to 80W of power output through its USB-C port, providing efficient power transmission and using a single cable to power multiple peripherals. USB-C with PD can power and control high-resolution displays for dynamic and interactive user interface control and digital signage.
The device efficiently handles high-performance, low-power edge applications, running 24/7. With support for Intel TCC and TSN, the device's three 2.5Gbe TSN LAN ports are ideal for real-time critical workloads required for applications such as PLC gateways, robot control, edge artificial intelligence, and more. Its onboard TPM 2.0 provides advanced security to protect data and ensure system integrity. Operating in the -40C to 60C (-40F to 140F) range, the device is fully operational in harsh industrial environments.
