Littelfuse's new half-bridge IGBT module increases the current rating to 600A, ensuring flexible, efficient and reliable power conversion

     Littelfuse announced the launch of the MG12600WB-BR2MM, the latest product line in its IGBT modular power semiconductor portfolio. The new half-bridge IGBT module family (1200V, 600A) offers designers significantly higher current ratings than the maximum current ratings of the previous products in the portfolio (450A), providing efficient and fast switching speeds reliably and flexibly with modern IGBT technology.

     The module's compact (152 x 62 x 17 mm) package simplifies thermal management and enables simpler, more sophisticated system designs. The multi-chip module can reduce the space requirements of solder joints and PC circuit board. The products in this release are packaged in a WB configuration with a wide power range and offer different current ratings. Applications for the MG12600WB-BR2MM series include power control applications such as flexible and efficient industrial and servo drives, solar inverters, high-power converters, UPS and welding equipment.
