OX03D: Designed for automotive vision

The OX03D is a 1/2.44-inch optical format CMOS image sensor that uses Howe's unique PureCel®Plus-S stacked pixel technology with an effective pixel capacity of 12 million and an output resolution of 4096 x 3072. The AEC-Q100 Level 2 certified sensor is designed for automotive applications and is capable of operating stably in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 105°C, meeting the demanding reliability requirements of automotive electronics.

Excellent image quality for accurate perception

The core strength of OX03D is its superior image quality, thanks to a number of advanced technologies:

● Excellent image quality: The OX03D has a high resolution of 12 megapixels to capture more detailed information and provide a more accurate perception of the environment for the ADAS system. At the same time, the use of PureCel®Plus-S pixel technology effectively improves the sensitivity and dynamic range of the DCMX984U16DG2B sensor, even in complex lighting conditions such as backlight, low light, and so on, can also present clear and accurate images.

● Low-power design: OX03D uses advanced low-power design to effectively reduce system power consumption and extend device battery life, which is particularly important for electric and autonomous vehicles.

● High Dynamic range (HDR) : The OX03D supports a dynamic range of up to 120dB, capturing light and dark details to avoid overexposure or underexposure, providing more comprehensive environmental information for ADAS systems.

● Excellent night vision performance: OX03D uses Howe's unique Nyxel® near infrared technology to significantly improve the sensitivity of the sensor in the near infrared band, enabling it to display clear images at night or in low light environments, effectively improving the safety of the ADAS system at night.

● High frame rate: OX03D supports frame rates of up to 60fps and can smoothly capture fast-moving objects to provide more timely environmental awareness information for ADAS systems.

● Small size package: The OX03D comes in a miniaturized package that can be easily integrated into a variety of ADAS and machine vision systems, meeting the stringent space and weight requirements of automotive manufacturers.

Enable ADAS and machine vision applications
