Qorvo introduces new control products, adding to the industry's richest CATV portfolio

     Qorvo, a provider of innovative RF solutions for a connected world, today announced the expansion of its CATV portfolio with the introduction of two new control products designed specifically for DOCSIS 3.1 wired networks - the QPC3624 and QPC3024. The new additions provide cable operators with greater network design flexibility, resulting in increased upstream and downstream bandwidth and reduced power consumption.

This gives Qorvo the ability to help customers streamline design and production processes while reducing time to market."

     Qorvo's new control module uses insulated silicon (SOI) process technology to provide proven performance and reliability for network control applications. The QPC3624 is a 6-bit DSA with high linearity and low insertion loss, which also supports burr free attenuation and faster switching speeds. The QPC3024 RF absorption switch operates at 5MHz to 3GHz and supports fast switching speeds typical of 250ns performance. Both QPC3624 and QPC3024 support DOCSIS 3.1.

     Qorvo offers more than 60 DOCSIS 3.1 supporting components, including attenuators, switches, power multiplier amplifiers, front-driver gain units, push-pull amplifiers, and reverse path amplifiers. Qorvo uses highly differentiated in-house developed process technologies, including GaN High electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT) technology, to deliver superior linearity, output power and reliability.
