STMicroelectronics' advanced 60V power MOSFETs are tailored to improve the energy efficiency of synchronous rectifier circuits

     STMicroelectronics' low-voltage MOSFETs STripFET™ F7 series will add a 60V product line. Helps power supplies for telecommunications, servers and desktop PCS, as well as DC-DC (DC/DC) power converters for industrial power supplies and solar microinverters meet stringent energy efficiency standards to maximize power density.

     The STripFET F7 MOSFET not only greatly improves the on-off energy efficiency and switching performance of the transistor, but also simplifies the trench-gate structure between channels to achieve extremely low on-off resistance, capacitance and gate charge, and achieves an excellent factor of quality (RDS(ON) x Qg). In addition, the recovery charge of the eigendiode is very low, which helps to improve the switching performance. The high avalanche tolerance ensures robust performance under harsh conditions, and the low ratio of the reverse transmission capacitance to the input capacitance (Crss/Ciss) helps to enhance EMI immunity.

     STMicroelectronics' 60V STripFET F7 MOSFET is customized for synchronous rectification circuits to achieve maximum target current with fewer parallel devices, thereby increasing power density and reducing component usage. The series consists of 12 products covering all industry standard power supplies with maximum output currents from 90A to 260A(silicon limited continuous drain current at Tc=25°C). The new product is available in several package options, including PowerFLAT™ 5x6, PowerFLAT 3.3x3.3, DPAK, D2PAK, TO-220, TO-220FP, two-pin or six-pin H2PAK.
