The 16W AC/DC series offers full certification

     RECOM has added new parts rated at 16W to its compact and cost-effective AC/DC range in industry-standard fixed and wired formats. Designed to be integrated directly into any system, the RACM16E-K/277 series measures only 2 "x 1.08" x 0.9 "(52.7mm x 27.6mm x 23mm) and offers a wide input range of 85VAC to 305VAC, covering 100-277VAC nominal, Or 120-430VDC for general purpose applications, and choose the output :3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V or 30V, all fully adjusted. The 3.3V output part is rated at 12W. The unit has a constant current limiting feature to accommodate nonlinear loads and short-circuit "burp" modes. Includes overvoltage and overload protection.

     The series is certified to the IEC 62368, IEC 61558, EN 60335 and UL/IEC/EN 60601 standards. For medical applications, these parts are rated to heights of 2MOPP to 5000m and 2MOOP to 4000m/OVCIII in Overvoltage Class II (OVCII) environments. The series also meets some of the BF touch current specifications for patient applications. EMI specification EN 55032 Class B limit meets the floating and no-load power consumption of less than 100mW, which meets the ecological design requirements.

     The series offers high efficiency, keeps the load low and allows the safety mechanism to operate at rated temperatures from -40 ° C to +85 ° C with derating of 60 ° C or higher, depending on the output variable. According to MIL-HDBK-217 (GB), the series has a rated pollution level of 2 (PD2), MTBF of more than 1M hours at 40 ° C, and high reliability.

     Typical applications of the series include electric vehicle chargers, industrial automation, lighting, iot, medical, measurement and butler power in smart energy systems.
