The three-phase DIN track filter takes up very little space

     Schurter introduces a new series of three-phase filters for DIN rail mounting. Due to the ultra-thin housing (44mm), it takes up very little space on the mounting track of the control cabinet. Single-stage filters have standard or high attenuation. The metal base provides a good ground connection to the track.

     In control cabinets for industrial applications in the three-phase range (e.g. motor drives, control systems), space is almost always at a premium. The company solved this problem with a completely new filter design, which is only 44 mm wide. The new single-stage filter family consists of a PCB in a plastic housing. It has a three-phase screw terminal and a ground terminal on a metal baseplate.

     In the standard version of the fer rite core, the new filter already provides very impressive attenuation behavior. High-performance versions with nanocrystalline cores can achieve attenuation of up to 8dB.

     The new filter family has a particularly low leakage current of just 1.3mA. This applies to all versions.
All versions can be used from -40 ° C to 100 ° C. According to IEC and UL standards, the filters are designed for currents from 3A to 32A, with a maximum voltage of 520VAC. They offer ENEC and cURus certifications for applications that comply with IEC 62368-1.

     These filters are recommended for devices with high EMC loads (switching power supplies, converters, etc.). Typical application areas are industrial or machine control systems, but high-performance, fine-line filters are also well suited for laboratory, telecommunications, and IT equipment.
